We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure group to help support and maintain our VMware virtual environments and the Windows servers that run within. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of both VMware and Microsoft server products. Additional knowledge of SAN storage and Routing & Switching is strongly preferred. The successful candidate must work well within a team setting, while also able to complete projects and tasks on his own when needed. The position does require on-call and after hours support.
Requirements:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Windows Servers in active directory environment. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of VMware virtual environments Prior SAN storage experience (Preferably NetApp) Prior Network & Firewall experience (Preferably Cisco ASA & Catalyst) Prior experience installing and maintaining MS Exchange Prior experience installing and maintaining MS SQL Ability to be technical lead on multiple projects and operational tasks simultaneously Able to provide on-call & after hours support Education Level: Four year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience administrating and maintaining VMware environment Minimum of 5 years of experience administrating and maintaining a Windows environment (AD, Group Policy, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008 R2, SharePoint 2010, Lync, …) Networking knowledge (Routing, Switching, and Security) SAN knowledge (NetApp a plus) Certifications: VCP, MCSE, or CCNA a plus
This position is based in Algona, IA (North Central Iowa). The ideal candidate will need to reside in the Algona area.
