Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (http://www.drake.edu/cp! hs/) invites applications for a full time twelve-month, non-tenure track, Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical Sciences Department. The position is available July 1, 2014. Candidates must have a PharmD with residency training (PGY-1). A PGY-2 residency or fellowship is highly desirable. Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in Iowa is required. Expertise in a medical subspecialty area (e.g., cardiology, oncology, infectious disease, other) is desired. Responsibilities include provision of patient care services, provision of introductory and advanced pharmacy practice student educational experiences, didactic teaching, and delivery of inter-professional education. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and expertise in delivery of inter-professional patient care. The practice site will be located in the Des Moines metropolitan area. This position will also be responsible for advising students, partici! pating in College and University faculty governance, and engag! ing in scholarship efforts appropriate for a non-tenure track position.
