The Technician I, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist assists with the provision of quality pharmaceutical services. The Technician I is expected to understand and support the Mission and V! ision of St. Luke’s Hospital. The Technician I is responsible for carrying out the philosophy and objectives as established by the Board of Directors and the Management Team. Foremost among these responsibilities are strictly adhering to detail in the performance of pharmacy procedures, solving practical problems, resolving conflict, and implementing constructive change.
Qualifications/Experience
Must demonstrate an aptitude and interest in pharmaceutical services.
Experience with computer systems is desirable; medical terminology is helpful; previous technician experience is desirable.
Must be able to understand written, visual and other sensory stimuli.
Must be able to cope effectively with stressful situation, multiple tasks and time constraints.
Must be able to logically solve problems and follow written and verbal instructions.
