Performs clinical and administrative duties under the direction of the IPCC Directors. Clinical respo! nsibilities include daily case review, quality assurance monitoring, staff development, and leadership and coordination of the daily operations of the experiential education for pharmacy students and resident physicians. This person must demonstrate excellent communication skills, superior organizational and customer service skills, responsive to directives and a commitment to the mission and development of the IPCC. This position provides increased responsibilities, advancement, and growth opportunities for motivated individuals.
Qualifications/Experience
Licensed pharmacist in State of Iowa. PharmD or BS Degree in Pharmacy. Demonstrated competence in pharmacy for a minimum of 3 years preferred. Hospital experience or completion of an ASHP accredited residency program in a health-system setting or drug information preferred. Evidence of excellent skills in teaching is highly desirable. Previous research and/or publication experience is highly desirable.
