Knowledge of legal parameters, HIPAA regulations and our requirement to collect specific data elements needed to manage our business. Experience/knowledge of negotiating multi-year contracts, strong problem resolution, and building strong relationships are critical.Knowledge of data issues related to agreements with the ability to discuss complex EDI data sets with Finance.

Prior pharmaceutical marketing or chain drug marketing experience.Understanding disease management and appropriate utilization.Ability to travel 50% Preferred qualifications: Advanced healthcare, pharmacy or business degreeProven experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Project ManagementContracting SkillsVendor ManagementDistribution, finance or operations skillsPayer PolicyManaged CareVaccines SalesDetails: The Chann! el Sales Director identifies, qualifys, formulates, and implem! ents strategies for obtaining, maintaining and expanding the utilization of GlaxoSmithKline’s products in Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines retail, chain and wholesalers and Vaccines Distribution Channel for National Customers. Key Responsibilities: Managing the overall business relationships with chain drug store and drug wholesalers headquarters key decision making personnel, serving as the single point of contact between the customer and GSK, being the liaison between the customer and GSK resources; e.g. clinical, legal, field sales, brand marketing.Monitoring & evaluating drug wholesalers Distribution and Performance Support Agreement (DPSA) contract performance weekly, monthly & quarterly. Working closely with GSK finance, distribution operations to insure purchasing targets are met and the appropriate quantities of inventory is in place to meet patient demand.Develop and implement marketing programs with chain drug stores that can have an immediate national impact helpin! g to achieve goals and leverage accessibility and utilization of GSK brands.Launch new pharmaceutical products with chain drug store headquarters and drug wholesalers, ensure stocking targets are reached.

Providing customer support relating to stocking terms, pricing, contract implementation, distribution timelines/shipping, new product information to pharmacist via headquarter communication marketing tools.Monitor product placement and utilization, market share data and analyze shortfalls or gaps that impact patients from obtaining medications. Working with chains, wholesalers, GSK distribution to close the gaps to insure product availability.Represent GSK as the expert on channel sales activities to identify and monitor key changes in channel landscape; e.g. strategic alliances, key customer organizational changes, competitive contracting information. Communicating with key GSK corporate and industry experts on marketplace trends that could impact GSK; e.g.
contacts, marketing programs, product availability, changes in poli! cy.Maintain and update customer account plans to insure an accurate portrait of each customer opportunity allowing GSK to maximize opportunities. Maintaining up to date enterprise maps for key customers highlighting all interface points between GSK and the customer.Monitor regulatory, legislative and the business environment; modifying and refining strategic account plan initiatives/opportunities.Leading business reviews with key chain drug stores and drug wholesalers with senior management (CFO, V.P.) to highlight and discuss opportunities and issues that confront the organizations. Develop and execute an action plan to expand the opportunities and correct shortfalls. Mutually agree on action steps holding GSK and customer accountable for issue resolution.*LI-GSK
