Description: Iowa Department of Administrative Services is presently looking of PHARMACY TECHNICIAN right now, this job will be delegated in Iowa. More details about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. A full time Pharmacy Technician position is available with the Iowa Department of Corrections Central Pharmacy. This position will be located at the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women in M! itchellville. Job duties include daily prescription processing utilizing unit dose medication systems, computer processing of medication orders and the performance of daily pharmaceutical routine and technical work to assist Iowa licensed pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy. Applicant must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail are also essential. All applicants must be Certified Pharmacy Technicians.
Hours of Work -- Pharmacy is open 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Position will rotate to provide necessary coverage. No nights, weekends or holidays required. Minimum Qualifications One year of full time technical experience assisting a pharmacist with pharmaceutical tasks .
