Our Transport Management Team is responsible for the first-mile transport operations in planning and managing the day-to-day operations in collaboration with our transport service providers. We have the goal that logistics processes are running smoothly and we have high customer satisfaction.
In this role as a team meber, you will be the owner of your role, work independently in an agile and flexible environment, and have the opportunity to learn from experts in the domain.
The essence of your role
- Controlling and monitoring, as well as the deployment planning of our transports, ensuring the on-time delivery of the transports
- Being the contact person for our internal & external stakeholders regarding quantity and delivery times
- Ad-hoc procurement of our required transport capacities
- Accurate data entry in our transport management system
- Being co-responsible for the achievement of the department KPIs, in terms of delivery quality (punctuality, equipment, etc.)
This is what you need to succeed
- Education in supply chain management/ logistics, or similar fields
- +2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations at a logistics company
- +C1 level German language skills and business fluent English skills
- Readiness to have ownership, act proactively and work independently
- Ideally, experience in the e-commerce logistics operations
