The Iowa Prescription Drug Corporation (IPDC) is seeking highly motivated s! taff pharmacists interested in part-time employment in a non-traditional pharmacy setting. IPDC is a 501c3 non-profit organization, focused on creating innovative solutions that provide low-cost pharmaceutical access to Iowa’s most vulnerable populations. IPDC has developed the nation’s largest drug donation repository program, where donated medications from long-term care pharmacies, health systems, and individual donors are inspected and provided to medical facilities providing care to uninsured and underinsured patients. The part-time pharmacist will primarily support the drug donation repository program and other health initiatives as needed.
The successful candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, the desire to collaborate, the ability to problem solve, and will be given the opportunity to provide innovative ideas to address issues of access and affordability within the field of pharmacy.
