PharmServ Staffing is seeking multiple Certified Pharmacy Technicians to work for our client's Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in the Des Moines area. This i! s a busy LTC pharmacy looking to employ full-time Order Entry Certified Technicians and Medication Order Filling Technicians as soon as possible. This LTC pharmacy is growing their patient coverage area and expanding their technology to do so. Medication Order Filling Technician •Create prescription labels, put them on prescription containers, retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory and place medication into prescription containers and ensure safety.•Assist in inventory management processes including: order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.•Basic problem resolution in filling process•Demonstrate professionalism, skill and proficiency in using telephone and other tools, ensuring that your performance and quality is at or above the level of your peers.•Exemplify a positive and willing attitu! de, working well with team members in handling varying tasks a! s priorities shift. Be aware of changing priorities and adjust as needed. Actively contribute in staff meetings, training, and productive discussion.•Help improve processes to ensure the highest level of quality and the most effective handling of tasks and responsibilities.
Learn and share best practices with managers and peers. Reduce errors or issues that limit the effectiveness of others in the company in handling their tasks. .•Communicate professionally and accurately with team members, customers, and third-parties. •Assist the Pharmacist, serve clients and maintain the Pharmacy Department.PharmServ Staffing is a Pharmacist owned, Iowa Pharmacy Association endorsed pharmacy staffing agency serving pharmacies of, various practice settings, throughout Iowa.
