Description: Mercy Medical Center is currently interviewing Pharmacy Tech Specialist right now, this vacancy will be reside in Iowa. Primary responsibility is to assist the pharmacists in making sure that accurate, efficient, expeditious and courteous pharmaceutical services are provided to all patients under the care of Mercy Medical Center. All duties, including order filling, pre-packaging, compounding, delivery and supportive functions are to be done accurately and with minimal supervision by the Director, Pharmacy Clinician or Staff Pharmacist. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent certificate. One year of technician experience preferred.
Registration and applicable certification requirements with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners. Medical technician or LPN training (helpful, but not required).
