The Pharmacist is responsible for working within the established
guidelines of the Pharmacy Department as assigned. The Pharmacist is expected to
understand and support the Mission and Vision of St. Luke’s Hospital. The Pharmacist is responsible for
carrying out the philosophy and objectives as established by the Board of
Directors and the Management Team.
Foremost among these responsibilities are maintaining th! e professional
knowledge and skills necessary to assure pa! tients receive quality medication
therapy along with solving practical problems, resolving conflict, implementing
constructive change and adhering to legal and regulatory
requirements.
Qualifications/Experience
Must maintain a current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Iowa.
Must be able to understand written, visual and other sensory stimuli.
Must be able to cope effectively with stressful situation, multiple tasks and time constraints.
Must be able to logically solve problems.
