Pharmacy Technician

Description: Mary Greeley Medical Center is hiring Pharmacy Technician right now, this occupation will be located in Iowa. Under general supervision, performs nonprofessional work assisting the pharmacist in routine duties of the pharmacy; performs some professional work under direct supervision of a pharmacist; performs related work as required. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education): High school diploma or equivalent Must complete in-house technician training program in computer order entry and sterile product preparation Knowledge of general clerical and business office procedures Knowledge of the operation of simple office machines Knowledge of the operation of the medical center pharmacy computer system Ability to understand oral and written instruction Ability to learn and complete routine duties in an accurate timely fashion Ability to prepackage medication and fill medication carts Skill in performing routine non-professional pharmacy duties with accuracy and timeliness
Preferred Qualifications: One year of non-professional pharmacy experience
