Description: Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa is at present looking to employ Clinical Pharmacist right now, this position will be ordered in Iowa. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. NIGHT CLINICAL/HOSPITAL PHARMACIST - - Scheduled to work 70 hrs/week, paid for 80 hours. Work holidays that fall on scheduled weeks. Works 7 on / 7 off. Monday - Friday 10:00 p.m. - 7:15! a.m., Saturday/Sunday 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. Work holidays that fall on your 7 day work shift.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Night Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate profiling, reviewing and dispensing of medications for patients. Provides expertise on drug therapy initiation and monitoring to physicians and other health professionals at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa and the Network with the goal of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient's quality of life.
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. or Pharm.D. degree required. Iowa Pharmacist licensure, either by examination or reciprocity, is required. Demonstrated competence in previous practical experience and/or certification in areas that related to practice site is preferred. Planning abilities. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
